Job summary

Champaign Unit 4 Schools is seeking a qualified school bus driver to support student transportation. The role requires a Class B CDL with a school bus driver permit, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings and a physical exam.

Candidates should have strong communication skills and at least two years of bus driving experience. The selected candidate is guaranteed a minimum of 8.0 hours per day with overtime at time and a half for hours over 40 per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a "Class B" CDL license and a schoolbusdriverpermit.
• Must have held a valid driver's license for the past three consecutive years and have a good driving record.
• Must be able to pass the annually required drug and alcohol screenings and physical examination.
• Must attend required course(s) of instruction for school bus drivers.
• Possess good human relations and communication skills.
• Must have a minimum of two years experience as a school bus driver (strongly preferred).
