Job summary

York Jewish Community Center seeks a Part-Time School Age Program Leader based at York Academy Regional Charter School. This role is employed and compensated through the York JCC, with duties centered on leading the classroom team and delivering high-quality school-age care.

You will plan daily activities, coordinate with Assistant Teachers and Aides, and support the School Age/Summer Camp Director. Requires a degree in relevant fields and a commitment to JCC values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, special education, psychology, or human services.
• BA with 30 credits in above fields as an alternative.
• AA degree in above field with two years of experience as an option.
• AA with 30 credits in above field and three years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the classroom team in the home base.
• Plan and implement daily program activities.
• Coordinate activities of Assistant Teachers and Aides.
• Assist the School Age/Summer Camp Director with designated tasks.
• Promote the JCC mission and provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
