Job summary

Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Public Schools is seeking a School Age Care and Wrap Around Program Lead to oversee the SAC/WA programs for school year and summer. You will supervise staff, plan activities, ensure a safe and welcoming site, and manage day-to-day operations.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership to maintain program quality, coordinate field trips, and collaborate with parents, staff, and district leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• CPR certification and experience leading a team are preferred.
• Experience working with children in related settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a safe, positive environment with a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Plan and implement daily lesson plans in line with SAC/WA standards.
• Supervise activities and monitor student behavior per guidelines.
• Oversee staff scheduling, meetings, and professional development.
• Coordinate field trips, transportation, and related payments.
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and students.
• Monitor enrollment, ratios, and budget data for the program.
• Support marketing materials and maintain confidentiality.
