Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking a Scheduler for our North Carolina location. The successful candidate will support project leaders by providing construction expertise across estimation, procurement, cost planning and more, ensuring high service standards and knowledge sharing across projects.

The role emphasizes leading, mentoring and developing a team, with a focus on Primavera P6 scheduling, dashboarding, and collaboration with clients and vendors to deliver on milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience on large complex pharmaceutical, manufacturing or industrial projects preferred.
• Experience with Primavera P6.
• Experience with Commissioning, Qualification & Validation.
• Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills.
• Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.
• A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Developing, tracking and analyzing schedules using Primavera P6 from design to operation including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, validation and qualification.
• Developing and tracking critical path, forecast completion dates, risk/opportunity areas, and milestone status.
• Understanding and following schedule management best practices.
• Communicating with client representatives, design consultants, contractors, sub-consultants and vendors.
• Preparing progress reports and flagging project issues impacting the schedule.
• Assisting project manager with evaluation of progress and status of critical activities.
• Ensuring schedules are accurate and complete to advise management on issues requiring judgment.
• Developing and recording historical schedule information and lessons learned for future use.
• Partnering with team members to create dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI or similar.
