Job summary

AES US Renewables & Power is seeking a Lead Scheduler to develop, integrate, analyze, and maintain schedules for gas generation projects using critical path scheduling techniques. The successful candidate will work across a matrixed organization and with external partners to deliver safe, reliable gas projects while maintaining clear accountability for the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or equivalent.
• 7+ years scheduling experience on power generation, industrial, or major construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules for gas-project portfolios and individual projects.
• Establish schedule structures, calendars, coding, work breakdown structures, milestones, baselines, progress rules, and reporting cycles.
• Integrate engineering, permitting, procurement, fabrication, logistics, construction, mechanical completion, commissioning, startup, testing, and commercial operation.
• Review contractor and supplier schedules for logic, durations, float, constraints, calendars, resources, progress, and contractual compliance.
• Prepare dashboards and reports communicating current status, forecast dates, schedule risk, and required decisions.
