The Regional office in Temecula, CA, seeks a Full-Time Lead Scheduler responsible for outpatient scheduling, verification of insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorizations across multiple facilities. Duties include:
Qualifications
- High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience in scheduling, insurance, and authorization in healthcare.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of office equipment and software packages.
Certifications/Licenses
- HAA Certified preferred.
- Valid CA Driver’s License required.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with staff, physicians, and the public.
- Knowledge of insurance benefits, billing, and reimbursement rates.
- Ability to interpret insurance contracts and explain policies to patients.
