Wake County seeks a Lead Scale House Attendant for the South Wake Landfill. This position involves overseeing scale operations, scheduling, and ensuring excellent customer service. Wake County Solid Waste scale houses are responsible for measuring over 500,000 tons of waste each year resulting in over $22 million dollars in payments from municipalities and vendors. Our team works collaboratively to accurately weigh in and weigh out haulers, treats our customers with respect and integrity, and strives for excellence in supporting our Solid Waste team at the scale house locations.

Work Schedule: Rotating 4 day, 10 hour shifts, including some Saturdays
Hiring Range: 22.13 - 25.43
Market Range: 22.13 - 28.73
