Job summary

PRT Staffing is seeking an experienced Scaffold Foreman to lead scaffold erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling on industrial project sites. You will supervise crews, enforce safety, and coordinate daily work to maintain productivity while delivering high-quality scaffolding solutions.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years supervisory experience, strong knowledge of Pin Lock Scaffold Systems, and a solid understanding of OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years scaffold supervision or foreman experience.
• Extensive experience with Pin Lock Scaffold Systems.
• Knowledge of scaffold construction, load capacities, fall protection and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret scaffold drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Experience leading crews on industrial or commercial sites.
• Valid drivers license with clean record.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct scaffold crews during erection, modification, and dismantling operations.
• Conduct and document Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for all scaffold-related tasks.
• Identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Plan manpower, equipment, and materials for scaffold projects.
• Inspect scaffold components for defects and compliance prior to use.
• Ensure scaffolds meet drawings, manufacturer specs, and safety standards.
• Lead daily safety meetings and pre-task planning sessions.
• Train scaffold carpenters and apprentices on best practices and safety.
• Maintain daily reports, time records, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with site supervision, contractors, and project management on progress and workforce needs.
• Enforce housekeeping and maintain a safe work environment.
