Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a Scaffold Foreman to lead scaffold operations on job sites across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. You will supervise crews, coordinate with customers and management, and ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and to project specifications.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on scaffolding experience and 3+ years of supervision, with OSHA 30 and scaffold certifications. Competitive benefits are offered and travel between sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on scaffolding in commercial/industrial environments.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience leading scaffold crews.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scaffold designs, submittals, and drawings.
• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety Certification required.
• OSHA Scaffold Competent Person certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel between ME, NH, VT.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, crews, and management to confirm scope and schedules.
• Coordinate with Construction Managers for alignment on requirements.
• Maintain a safe worksite and enforce safety programs.
• Supervise scaffold crews and provide hands-on support as needed.
• Manage manpower to ensure productivity and control costs, minimizing overtime.
• Review work per pre-job plans and ensure alignment with design and contract requirements.
• Document out-of-scope work for change orders and cost recovery.
• Perform admin tasks including inventory, safety meetings, hazard analysis, and job documentation.
• Maintain records such as payroll time sheets, equipment rentals, and material tickets.
