Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking an experienced Scaffold Leadman in Sweeny, TX to lead a crew in safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems for industrial construction and maintenance projects. Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience in related field.
• Minimum three years assisting the Foreperson with supervision in a crew leader capacity.
• Strong knowledge of scaffold systems and OSHA scaffold regulations.
• Ability to read scaffold drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of scaffold builders during erection, modification, and dismantling.
• Read and interpret scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work orders for accurate installation.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor crew productivity and quality of work.
• Inspect scaffold components to meet safety and quality standards.
• Ensure scaffolds comply with OSHA regulations and customer requirements.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and reinforce PPE usage.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to support schedules.
• Train and mentor scaffold builders to improve skills and safety awareness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
