Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a dependable Scaffold Carpenter in Sweeny, TX for long-term maintenance projects. You will assist the Scaffold Leadman with erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffold systems, working 40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of scaffold experience, can read drawings and blueprints, and uses hand and power tools safely. Travel to job sites may be required; OSHA safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as Scaffold Carpenter or Industrial Carpenter preferred.
• Ability to read scaffold drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in scaffold construction.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working at height.
• Willing to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffold systems.
• Assemble scaffold components.
• Read drawings and follow instructions.
• Inspect materials and report defects.
• Transport scaffold materials.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain organized work area.
• Collaborate with Scaffold Leadman.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE.
• Report unsafe conditions.
