Job summary

E Tech Group seeks a Lead SCADA Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and commission advanced SCADA systems for industrial automation. You will integrate Ignition with containerized environments, MQTT infrastructure, and Relational databases while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes high-availability, scalable solutions, and on-site testing, with mentorship of engineers and adherence to project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in the control system industry.
• 3+ years with Inductive Automation Ignition (Perspective, Vision, SQL, Tag Historian, Scripting).
• Experience with Docker based deployments and virtualized environments.
• Experience with MQTT architectures and brokers such as EMQX, Ignition MQTT Distributor/Engine.
• Gold certified in Ignition.
• Strong development skills in Jython, SQL, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, install, and commission SCADA systems for automation solutions.
• Lead containerized virtualization deployments and MQTT infrastructure for large-scale projects.
• Develop Ignition-based SCADA solutions and architecture across multiple projects.
• Mentor engineers and train teams on Ignition best practices.
