Job summary

K2Spacecorporation is looking for an experienced operations engineer to define and execute mission operations for the first satellite mission. You will play a crucial role in developing procedures, tools, and real-time support systems, ensuring operational readiness, and supporting multi-satellite operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering and over 10 years of experience in operations and integration roles. The compensation includes a salary range of $180,000-$210,000, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in an operations/integration/automation engineering role.
• Experience operating satellites on-orbit for at least 4 years.
• Familiarity with mission operations concepts like LEOP, telemetry, and fault protection.

Responsibilities

• Define and operationalize mission operations concept for the first satellite mission.
• Develop telemetry monitoring strategies and command plans for operations.
• Collaborate closely with systems, software, and hardware teams for operational readiness.
