K2 Space is seeking a Launch Mission Manager to support certification and integration for satellite launches. This role involves being the main point of contact for all certification processes, ensuring compliance and facilitating communication between customer and launch provider.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or related fields, 8+ years in aerospace, and exceptional project management skills. The role comes with a base salary range of $175,000 - $200,000 plus equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical aerospace or manufacturing
• 2+ years of experience managing projects or technical teams
• Exceptional understanding of launch vehicles and spacecraft systems

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for certification processes including compliance and qualification reports
• Ensure launch operations plan is robust and mission executes flawlessly
• Shape certification process to increase velocity of projects
