Job summary

INNOVIM is seeking a Satellite Ground System Engineer for the Missile Defense Division, based at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. This on-site role requires a DoD Secret clearance, leadership experience, and a deep background in ground system engineering and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of general full-time work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in systems engineering for satellite ground systems.
• At least 6 months in a leadership role.
• Active DoW Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design ground system architectures and enterprise services within the MDSEA framework.
• Define requirements, conduct studies, engineer ground system architectures, and oversee system development for satellite ground systems and operations centers.
• Support engineering lifecycle from initiation to sustainment through requirements management and task execution.
• Document designs and create implementation and test plans for sustainment personnel.
• Collaborate with system admins, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, test teams, project managers, software, network and application teams for integration and policy compliance.
• Define tasks and schedules with Project Managers to meet milestones.
• Work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
