Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Systems Engineer in El Segundo, CA to help modernize national security SATCOM software. You will manage requirements, assess deliverables, and guide modernization toward secure, scalable solutions across ground, space, and cyber domains.

You'll lead working groups, evaluate options, and deliver recommendations to government decision-makers while collaborating with software developers, cyber engineers, SATCOM operators, systems engineers, and acquisition

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years with SATCOM, space/ground/C2 software.
• Experience creating ICDs, service decompositions, APIs.
• Cloud-native, microservices, containers, CI/CD experience.
• Defining software baselines: code, docs, automated tests.
• Experience in Agile environments or SAFe.
• Requirements development and decomposition skills.
• Knowledge of zero trust and RMF cybersecurity.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s in CS or Engineering.
