Job summary

Envestnet seeks a Lead Salesforce Developer to architect and build scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. You will guide technical direction, mentor engineers, and align Salesforce capabilities with enterprise strategy.

You will design Apex/LWC-based solutions, manage integrations via REST/SOAP, and drive best practices for deployment and testing while collaborating with DevOps for CI/CD and org observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience across multiple orgs or product lines.
• Expert-level Apex development including triggers, batch classes, queueable jobs, and test frameworks.
• Expert-level Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura component development.
• Strong experience with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes, Validation Rules).
• Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud (Community Cloud).
• Experience designing Salesforce integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, or equivalent).
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI, scratch orgs, and source-driven development.
• Experience with CI/CD for Salesforce using Copado, Gearset, or equivalent pipeline automation.
• Proficiency with SOQL, SOSL, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Salesforce security model including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security.
• Familiarity with Financial Services Cloud or Wealth Management configurations is a plus.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certification preferred.
• Experience mentoring engineers and establishing Salesforce development standards across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions with broad organizational impact.
• Lead technical decisions for major Salesforce features, integrations, and platform initiatives.
• Break down CRM requirements into scalable Apex, LWC, and flow-based solutions.
• Enforce best practices for Apex development, Lightning Web Components, testing, and deployment.
• Design and maintain integration patterns with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Manage governor limits, data model scalability, org health, and risk mitigation.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for production issues.
• Influence Salesforce roadmap with technical insight and feasibility analysis.
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE to improve CI/CD, deployment automation, and observability.
• Mentor engineers and establish development standards across teams.
