KANINI is hiring for a Lead Salesforce Architect to define the strategic direction of our enterprise Salesforce ecosystem and lead the team responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing it. Salesforce is the backbone of how we sell, service, and renew across a growing portfolio of business units, and this role ensures the platform evolves in lockstep with the business.
This is a hands‑on leadership role reporting to the VP of IT & CISO. You’ll guide a team of internal administrators and external partners while collaborating closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations. You’ll translate business strategy into a platform roadmap, establish architectural standards, and ensure high‑quality delivery across all Salesforce initiatives. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable presenting architectural decisions to executives and reviewing solution designs with technical peers.
Our Salesforce environment includes CPQ supporting subscription pricing for enterprise SaaS, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud portals, Agentforce, and a significant body of custom development.
Responsibilities:
- Own the architecture and delivery of the migration to Revenue Cloud, including revenue process design, product and pricing models, data migration, and a phased rollout that avoids mid‑quarter disruption.
- Define and maintain a multi‑year Salesforce platform roadmap, aligning investment with business outcomes and company strategy.
- Make and defend build vs. buy and build vs. configure decisions, including AppExchange evaluations and partner selections.
- Own the integration and data architecture across upstream and downstream systems, including middleware strategy, master data management, and data governance.
- Lead the architectural onboarding of acquisitions and new business units, assessing current environments, defining target state, and planning migration and data conversion.
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and governance models to ensure consistency as the platform scales.
- Serve as the design authority for major changes, reviewing solution designs and maintaining a prioritized technical debt backlog.
- Own the release and DevOps strategy, including source control, sandbox management, and deployment pipelines.
- Translate Salesforce roadmap changes—new releases, feature retirements, licensing updates—into actionable plans for the business.
- Partner with Information Security on platform security architecture, access model design, and audit/compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience, including time in an architecture or lead solution design role.
- 2+ years of people leadership, managing direct reports or similar.
- Experience integrating acquired companies or new business units into an existing Salesforce instance.
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce CPQ (amendments, renewals, subscription pricing, quote‑to‑order data model) and Revenue Cloud (RLM / Revenue Cloud Advanced).
- Proven experience architecting and administering complex Salesforce environments with multiple integrations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels—from end users to executives.
Preferred:
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect credentials (or demonstrable progress toward them).
- Experience leading a migration or replatforming of a quoting, pricing, or revenue system.
