Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree in accounting or business with 3+ years in accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping, or sales tax processing.
• Or a high school diploma plus 5+ years in accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping, accounting, or sales tax processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide para-professional support to the Sales Tax Division.
• Create new licenses and accounts in tax system.
• Post taxpayer payments to business accounts.
• Enter and verify sales and use tax returns.
• Explain licensing regulations to customers.
• Assist walk-in customers with tax payments and licensing needs.
