Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash security and safety policies and practices.
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves and displays.
• Restock returned merchandise and replenish stock.
• Assist in ordering and plan-o-gram implementation.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
