Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to analyze and structure complex sales transactions in a fast-paced environment. You will evaluate profitability, risk, and compliance while overseeing analysts and driving process improvements within the deal desk.

You will also provide guidance on deal structuring, pricing, and approvals, and strive to streamline workflows to shorten sales cycles and adopt best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Operations experience.
• 2–4 years in a process-improvement environment.
• Consulting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Oracle CRM system.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel.
• Strong analytical skills.

• Anaylzing and structuring complex sales transactions
• Evaluating deal profitability, risk, and compliance
• Oversight of other analysts, and for training and process improvement within the deal desk itself
• Providing guidance and support to sales teams on deal structuring, pricing, and approvals
• Streamlining deal desk processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce sales cycle times
• Identifying and implementing best practices for deal management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/MBA from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field
• 3-5 years of Operations experience
• 2-4 years of experience in a process improvement focused environment
• Consulting experience preferred
• Knowledge of Oracle CRM system
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel
