Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including percentages.
• Knowledge of cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to operate an IBM cash register.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and safety practices.
• Effective written and verbal communication; teamwork and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to store processes.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise and rotate displays; build merchandise displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Order zones and drop shipment categories as directed by the Store Manager.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness in the store; manage trash and restrooms.
• Greet customers entering the store and assist at register.
• Operate register and bag merchandise; handle payments and making change.
• Keep front end tidy; support sidewalk displays setup.
• Ensure a safe, organized store environment and excellent customer service leadership.
• Follow SOPs, handbook, and communications in daily tasks.
• Open or close the store as directed by the Area Manager.
