Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Kentwood, LA to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate a cash register, stock merchandise and support store profitability while protecting assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases; collect payment and make change.
• Stock merchandise; restock and rotate merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restrooms; set up sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties typically performed by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager in their absence.
