Job summary

Indorama Ventures Xylenes & PTA in Decatur, AL seeks a Safety Engineer to develop and implement loss prevention, safety and emergency programs, and ensure OSHA compliance across the site.

You will serve as a key HSSE resource, lead hazard analyses, conduct PSSRs/MOC, coordinate audits, investigations, and regulatory interfaces while promoting safe work practices and contractor safety collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires safety engineering background and strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Experience in manufacturing environments with hazard controls and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties related to safety programs and hazard reviews.
• Serves as technical resource for HSSE, participates in audits and risk assessments.
• Conducts investigations and supports incident management and corrective actions.
• Reviews safety statistics and implements training programs.
• Coordinates with contractors and regulatory agencies.
