Job summary

Johnson RV seeks a Lead Detailer to oversee the detail shop and guide a dedicated team. You will perform interior and exterior cleaning while ensuring standards meet company expectations and delivery timelines.

Responsibilities include training staff, conducting quality checks, and coordinating scheduling and safety. A high school diploma and prior detailing leadership experience are preferred. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a detail team in RV or automotive settings.
• Detailing experience with RVs, marine, or similar vehicles is required.
• Ability to operate cleaning, buffing, and detailing equipment safely.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and prioritize daily workflow to meet reconditioning goals and deadlines.
• Train and mentor detailers; onboard new team members and reinforce procedures.
• Perform quality checks on units and coach for corrections as needed.
• Clean RVs and other large vehicles inside and out; wash, vacuum, and deodorize.
• Apply waxes and protective coatings; operate buffers for paint restoration.
• Communicate with scheduling and staffing needs; maintain a safe work environment.
