Job summary

The AC Portland Downtown, part of Sage Hospitality Group, is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms and public areas to our high standards.

You will train and supervise housekeeping staff, inspect rooms for cleanliness, and ensure guest comfort while upholding safety and sanitation guidelines. This role offers growth within a premier hospitality company and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Experience one to two years in a related role.
• Supervisory experience and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Public Area Attendants, Room Attendants and Linen Runners.
• Inspect and supervise cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of house.
• Assign staff tasks and monitor special requests for smooth operations.
• Oversee inventory and supply distribution to control costs.
• Respond to guest requests and logs for Lost and Found to ensure satisfaction.
• Implement emergency procedures and maintain safety/compliance standards.
