OSF HealthCare is seeking an on-site Room Service Supervisor to oversee cooks, tray line and ware washing staff, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery of patient trays. The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year kitchen experience and Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification within 1 year of hire.

Second shift differential of 1.75 applies. The ideal candidate has vocational cooking training or supervisory exposure and will work within OSF HealthCare’s total rewards framework

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of kitchen work experience.
• Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification (within 1 year of hire).
• Experience: 6 months vocational training in cooking techniques (preferred).
• Approximately 1 year progressively more responsible experience to learn supervisory responsibilities.

Expected pay for this position is $17.66 - $19.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High School Diploma and or equivalent.


• Experience: 1 year of kitchen work experience.


• Other Licenses/Certifications: Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification (within 1 year of hire)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 6 months vocational training in cooking techniques and methods.


• Approximately 1 year progressively more responsible experience necessary in order to become familiar with supervisory responsibilities, and to learn departmental and Medical Center procedures and operations.
