Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience operating steel-wheel vibratory and pneumatic tire rollers.
• Solid knowledge of asphalt compaction, breakdown patterns, and mix behavior.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate steel-wheel vibratory and pneumatic tire rollers to achieve specified density.
• Execute precise rolling patterns based on mix type and lift thickness.
• Monitor mat temperatures and adjust roller proximity to optimize compaction.
• Coordinate with paver and screed operators to maintain spacing and speeds.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
