Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Circuit Design Engineer in Orlando to lead ROIC design, architect innovative architectures, and drive mixed-signal and digital circuit blocks for IR sensor stacks.

You will coordinate with sensor, systems, and layout engineers, mentor junior designers, and manage responsibility through full design flows and foundry interactions, including customer reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in electrical hardware design with aerospace experience highly desired.
• Proven technical lead for architecture, integration, and sustainment on large programs.
• Strong hands-on lab skills with test equipment and measurement tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Define ROIC system requirements and high-level architectures.
• Design and simulate CMOS pixel arrays, ADCs, bias generators, and digital blocks.
• Coordinate schematic/layout with layout engineers and ensure DFMed processes.
• Lab testing, debugging, and characterization of fabricated ROICs.
• Manage design flow from RTL to physical implementation using EDA tools.
• Lead project plans, schedules, and risk management; report to leadership.
