Job summary

CKC Automation seeks a Lead Controls Engineer to head design, development, testing, and installation of control systems for industrial robots and custom machinery. You’ll collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to project quotes and best practices.

You will coordinate with sales during quoting, ensure schedules and budgets are respected, and maintain high-quality, safe automation solutions across client sites in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–10 years of experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA and robotics or motion control.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead design, development, and testing of control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead control systems projects from requirements through deployment and maintenance.
• Program and integrate industrial robots and safety systems.
• Lead project meetings with customers and internal teams.
• Develop software for custom automated machines and control systems.
• Prepare BOMs and review electrical schematics.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices.
