Job summary

The PAC Group is seeking a Commissioning Technician III to lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of complex robotic systems for diverse clients across the United States. This full-time, field-focused role requires senior technical leadership, advanced troubleshooting, and mentoring of junior technicians.

The position entails travel across the U.S. (and potentially Canada) with remote work options as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on robotics, automation, or complex installation.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems integration.
• Strong understanding of industrial networks and controls fundamentals.
• Proven ability to lead small teams or coordinate subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite deployment and commissioning of robotic systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Coordinate with trades and client teams for installation planning.
• Calibrate, test, and validate system performance to specifications.
• Train and mentor Apprentices and Tech I/II technicians.
