Job summary

SEL is seeking a hands-on Mechanical/Robotics Engineer to join the Product Support and Development - Mechanical team in the Manufacturing Division. You will own projects from problem statement to solution integration and closing out the projects, leading a small team to develop automation solutions for safer, more economical production.

You will work with collaborative/industrial robotics, end-of-arm tooling, computer vision, and CAD, and ensure solutions operate on the production floor with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• Experience in hands-on design, problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to develop automation solutions for safer, more reliable production.
• Own problem statements through to solution integration and project closure.
• Provide feedback in design reviews and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Deliver practical solutions on the production floor with CAD work as needed.
