The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a part-time nurse for Nelson 3, a 23-bed medical unit with telemetry. You will provide top-tier care to adult patients with complex conditions, collaborating with physicians, case managers, homecare specialists, pharmacists, PT/OT, and social workers.

Qualifications

• RN with Med/Tele experience.
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active BLS via AHA, American Red Cross or Military Training Network at time of hire.
• Active Maryland RN or Compact License at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the total scope of care for patients to achieve clinical, financial, and organizational outcomes.
• Provides evidence-based care and supports management activities, including performance reviews and training.
• Mentors and develops others to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
• Leads a multidisciplinary team to optimize performance.
• Promotes quality improvement initiatives aligned with department and organizational goals.
• Identifies methods to promote cost-effective use of resources.
