Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse Charge Nurse for the Brownsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brownsville, TX. This full-time role operates on a 6am-6pm shift, providing leadership to ensure high-quality resident care.

The RN will oversee nursing staff, administer medications, document clinical changes, and coordinate with physicians to implement care plans. Texas RN licensure and prior SNF experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed RN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas in good standing.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, document, and report resident condition during rounds.
• Ensure care plans are followed as directed.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Record physician visits and rounds in resident records.
• Perform narcotic reconciliation with shifts.
• Identify changes in resident condition and act per policy.
• Oversee nursing aides and supervise care delivery.
• Complete Incident/Accident Reports as required.
• Discharge residents per policy.
• Communicate with residents' contacts about status changes.
