Job summary

HealthFirst Bluegrass seeks a passionate Lead RN to support a School-Based Health Program at William Wells Brown Elementary in Lexington, KY. Responsibilities include coordinating daily clinic operations, supporting providers, and leading outreach events while fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes student and family

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license.
• BSN with 3 years of nursing experience, or ADN with 5 years of related nursing experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• A passion for community health, collaboration, and serving children and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinic operations, staff workflows, and patient care activities.
• Provide direct nursing support and assist providers in delivering exceptional care.
• Foster strong partnerships with school personnel, families, and community organizations.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, compliance efforts, and program performance goals.
• Lead team huddles, coordinate outreach events, and contribute to the continued growth of our school-based health services.
• Help create a positive, collaborative environment focused on improving the health and well-being of students and families.
