Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI seeks an experienced Lead RN for the Day Shift to lead the Medical Telemetry Observation Unit (6KLM).

This role focuses on coaching staff, upholding patient-centered care, and ensuring unit efficiency while maintaining regulatory standards. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of nursing leadership, a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, and a Wisconsin RN license with BLS; ADN-educated RNs may apply if enrolled in BSN.

Qualifications

• RN leadership role with clinical oversight
• Charge RN responsibilities and mentoring focus
• Requires licensure and BLS within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Ensures unit operates efficiently during shift and adheres to policies
• Facilitates collaboration and coordinates patient care
• Provides clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff
• Coaches, mentors and educates nursing staff
• Supports continuous quality improvement within the unit
• Drives a culture of innovation and excellence in patient care
• Communicates clearly among nursing staff and preserves teamwork
• Coordinates emergency response and crisis management as needed
• Advocates for patients and families and upholds ethical conduct
