• Fosters the professional growth of nursing staff by providing coaching, mentoring, and educational opportunities.
• Oversees continuous quality improvement within the nursing unit by supporting identified areas for enhancement and evaluation of outcomes.
• Promotes a culture of innovation and excellence to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Facilitates clear and effective communication among nursing staff to relay information promptly and accurately.
• Encourages a collaborative environment where concerns are addressed and teamwork is encouraged.
• Accounts for efficient resource utilization including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
• Coordinates emergency response and crisis management within the nursing unit.
