Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing required upon hire.
Kentucky RN licensure required upon hire.
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
Ensures staff compliance with department policies and procedures.
Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.
Implements and monitors patient care plans.
Monitors and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Coordinates discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Assesses learning needs and provides education based on age and culture.
