Premier Health's Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery on a full-time days schedule (7:00am-7:30pm, 72 hours per pay). The RN partners with patients and families to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support in a safe, professional environment.

Required: Ohio RN license and BLS certification prior to orientation; graduation from an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred; BSN completion or professional certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse who partners with and advocates for patients/families to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support.
• RN functions with professionalism and autonomous nursing practice within the department.
• RN collaborates with inter-professional team and ensures compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and Nursing Code of Ethics.
