Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Nampa, Idaho, is seeking a Lead Practice Nurse for the Karcher Family Medicine and Urgent Care clinic. The role provides clinical leadership while continuing to perform patient care, triage, and staff coordination.

You will oversee back-office operations, schedule staff, ensure Joint Commission/OSHA/CLIA compliance, and participate in annual budgeting. Idaho RN license and BLS required; ACEN/CCNE nursing degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate back-office staff and act as liaison between staff, physicians and clinic managers.

• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA and state radiological safety standards; participate in budgeting.

The clinic is located at 11035 West Karcher Road and provides convenient care to close to home for west Nampa residents and surrounding communities. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and support within the clinic and throughout the network. This is also considered a working RN position, meaning you will still provide some patient care, including Triage, working alongside clinic staff.

Typical days include coordination of all back office staff and acting as liaison between support staff, physician and clinic managers/administrators. You will conduct routine staff meetings, scheduling, clinical competencies, staff education, etc. and be responsible for Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA and State radiological safety standards as well as any other local, state or federal mandates. You will assist in preparing operational budgets yearly, and have authority to purchase day-to-day medical/surgical supplies, as well as helping to assess capital equipment needs yearly.

Schedule: M-F 7am-4pm Mon-Fri flexibility in time

General Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience required, preferably in a physician office setting
• Management experiences a plus

Education:

• An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE

License/Certification:

• Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.
• Must provide licensure or proof of application in the State of Oregon within six months of starting
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
