Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred and willingness to pursue BSN if not held.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in a Critical Care, Radiology, ED, or OR setting.
• Strong leadership, staffing, scheduling, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care activities on the nursing unit and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee care planning, patient teaching, and discharge planning.
• Ensure proper staffing and coverage for shifts and emergencies.
• Assist in staff interviews and provide input to the Nurse Manager.
• Utilize Carelogistic/EPIC to reflect unit and patient status accurately.
• Lead huddles, debriefs, and daily rounding to enhance patient care.
