Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a nurse leader for the day shift. The role coordinates patient care activities on the nursing unit, leads a multi-disciplinary team, and ensures staffing coverage and effective delegation.

You will participate in interviewing prospective staff, maintain accurate Carelogistic/EPIC data, support patient safety, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; if no Bachelor's, start within 12 months and finish within 5 years.
• 2–3+ years of experience in critical care, radiology, ED, or OR.
• Strong leadership, staffing, scheduling, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care activities on the nursing unit as a front-line leader.
• Lead multi-disciplinary care planning, teaching, and discharge planning.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage for unanticipated needs.
• Assist in long- and short-term staff scheduling and participate in interviews.
