Hickory Trail Hospital in DeSoto, Texas, seeks an RN House Supervisor to oversee coordinated patient care and supervision of the nursing team on each shift. This role supports hospital goals and ensures adherence to established standards of care in a behavioral health environment.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, RN licensure in Texas, and at least 3 years’ experience in psychiatric healthcare, with weekend/overtime flexibility and knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Current Texas nursing license or eligible to renew.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA).
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime and flexible hours.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate delivery of patient care per standards and hospital policy.
• Provide direct supervision of nursing staff and patient care during shifts.
• Collaborate with Intake and Admissions on admissions, discharges, and transfers.
