Job summary

Amedisys is seeking an RN clinical manager in the Boston area to lead nursing operations for home health and hospice care. You will oversee clinical performance, coordinate staffing and ensure compliant care plans across the center.

The role emphasizes collaboration with leadership, hands-on support during emergencies, and ongoing staff development, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care at home.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelors degree in nursing.
• One year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice.
• One year of RN management experience.
• Current RN license, state-specific.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supports, participates and works cooperatively with the director of staffing.
• Responsible for overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
• Organizes clinical operations for the care center.
• Reviews requests for services and determines patient eligibility/suitability for home care services, coordinating with intake.
• Oversees scheduling.
• Oversees payor verification and precertification requirements.
• Reviews documentation of staff and resolves missing or untimely documentation.
• Assists clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term patient goals and care plans.
• Regularly evaluates patient needs and revises the plan of care.
• May provide direct patient care in emergencies.
• Participates in on-call process.
• Assists with staff training to ensure quality care and fiscal responsibility.
• Participates in investigations and resolutions of concerns.
