Job summary

CareOne's Rehabilitation & Nursing Center at Greater Pittsburgh in Greensburg, PA is hiring a Registered Nurse to oversee nursing care and coordinate the nursing process for residents. You will work within state and federal regulations and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in nursing, current RN licensure in PA, and at least 1 year of related nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from credentialed school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• 1 year of related nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with the nursing process.
• May be assigned to function as Medication/Treatment Nurse, unit Charge Nurse, or Supervisor.
• Direct day to day functions of LPNs and CNAs, ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Provide assessment of and respond to resident conditions using the nursing process.
• Work cooperatively with other members of the facility interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain effective communication with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high standard of care.
• Complete and ensure documentation of care and services rendered per policy.
• Provide immediate response to situations of resident risk and report incidents timely.
• Communicate to physicians and document changes in resident condition.
