Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-year recent experience circulating in Cardiac Surgeries or completion of Kaiser CVOR course within past 12 months.
• Active California RN license and BLS certification.
• Willing to scrub as required and participate in patient care activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Upholds Kaiser Permanente policies, procedures, and standards of care while leading the health care team.
• Directs tasks, delegates appropriately, and maintains accountability for team performance.
• Develops individualized plans of care using the nursing process with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Ensures multidisciplinary planning and timely communication with patients and families.
• Provides an optimal patient care experience by listening to patients and families and ensuring understanding of discharge instructions.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and safe, clean work environment; supports continuous education and teamwork.
• Contributes to unit needs assessments and participates in mandatory meetings and staff development.
