Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks a Registered Nurse to lead and provide professional nursing care in the operating room or surgicenter, following the nursing process and Kaiser policies.

The role involves leadership of the care team, compliant practice, comprehensive documentation, and collaboration with physicians to achieve optimal patient outcomes; requires California RN license and BLS, with rotating weekends and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in an acute hospital Operating Room or Surgicenter, including circulating on a variety of surgical procedures in multiple specialties, or successful completion of a KP Operating Room course or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.
• Registered Nurse License (California).
• Basic Life Support.
• Ability to scrub as required.
• Ability to take call within a 30 minute response time.
