Job summary

Rocky Mountain Home Health & Hospice-Utah County seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for per diem shifts in Orem, UT. The RN will direct daily nursing activities, supervise aides, and ensure safe, person-centered care aligned with facility policies.

Responsibilities include medication administration, care plan updates, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs. CPR certification and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of nursing assistants and caregivers in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Follows the nursing model to promote holistic care for residents.
• Ensures policies and procedures are followed by nursing personnel.
• Participates in admission, discharge and transfers of residents as required.
• Assesses changes in residents’ status, notifies physician and family, documents accordingly.
• Prepares and administers medications as per orders and observes for adverse effects.
