Job summary

ISN is seeking a Risk Mitigation Specialist to lead the Risk Mitigation Unit for DCSA’s mission. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate with government leaders, and guide risk assessments of entities under the National Industrial Security Program.

You’ll analyze ownership, foreign affiliations, and governance structures to identify risk indicators and support mitigation strategies. A strong track record in security, risk, and government-facing work is required.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex risk data (ownership, governance, financials).
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear risk assessments.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coordinate analytical teams and priorities.
• Knowledge of NISP/FOCI concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMU program operations, including workload management and performance.
• Coordinate with Government leadership and stakeholders on priorities and requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate national security risks for entities under NISP and FOCI.
• Analyze ownership, foreign affiliations, and governance to flag risk indicators.
• Develop risk assessments, reports, and briefings for Government review.
• Monitor mitigation activities and update on emerging risks.
