Sei Labs in NYC is seeking an initial Risk Manager to lead the FCM's independent Risk Management Unit and to administer, maintain and enhance its Risk Management Program. You will establish risk limits, monitor exposures across customers, products and venues, run stress tests, and coordinate with Finance, Operations, Technology and Compliance while reporting to senior management.

• 4–8 years of market, credit or margin risk experience.
• Strong command of futures and derivatives margining (SPAN or similar).
• Hands-on experience with limits, stress testing and risk reporting.
• Working knowledge of FCM risk obligations, including Regulation 1.11.
• Strong quantitative and data skills (Python, SQL or advanced Excel).
• Clear written communication for governance and regulatory reporting.
• The independence and judgment to challenge the business when needed.
• Ability to build process from scratch in a fast-moving 0-to-1 environment.
• A clean regulatory record, with no NFA or FINRA disciplinary history.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the Risk Management Program under CFTC Regulation 1.11.
• Set and monitor pre-trade and intraday risk limits for market, credit, margin and exposure.
• Monitor exposures and escalate breaches to senior management.
• Run stress tests and scenario analyses across customers and venues.
• Provide risk oversight of liquidity, capital and counterparty exposures.
• Assess settlement, operational, contract-expiration and third-party risks.
• Prepare quarterly Risk Exposure Reports for senior management and regulators.
• Evaluate risk for new products and clearing relationships before launch.
